Podcasts are now available on all media platforms. Not only radio, but also native digital and television teams embrace podcasts, an intimate and powerful form of media, to renew their offer to their audiences. But audio has its own set of rules, techniques and storytelling.
This Master Class will explain these skills and teach participants how to gather and produce audio to become podcast storytellers. From how to create 'powerful images' using audio, to best practice on recording, producing and marketing the end product, this Master Class, taught by audio and radio professionals, will enable participants to review the skills they need.

- Record and edit high quality audio
- Host in a conversational style and/or coach presenters
- Add essential post-production techniques to a podcast e.g. adding music and/or sound effects
- Produce your first podcast
- Design implement a strategy for a podcast, including marketing on social media
- Upload a podcast to various distribution platforms

3 weekly podcasts on Fridays (10-15 mins)
Live Zoom sessions twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays – (75 mins)
Homework: 2-3 hrs/week
Certificate
Participants who will have completed the course, including attending the live online sessions and completing the homework will obtain an EBU Academy certificate of achievement.
