Wheatstone's SystemLink now transports FM MPX over IP links of any capacity, whether as uncompressed or via optional μMPX.
New Bern, NC, USA. - Wheatstone's SystemLink® FM MPX over IP transporter now completes the cloud-based or local server FM air chain.
Among the new additions to the transporter this NAB show is Reliable Internet Stream Transport (RIST) connectivity for robust, secure, and reliable transport over any IP link.
With this, SystemLink transports FM MPX + HD/DAB reliably and at low latency across IP links of any capacity, whether as uncompressed or via optional μMPX codec. RIST adds realtime error correction for reliably transmitting audio over the public internet.
SystemLink is available for Wheatstone audio processors, including its Layers FM audio processor software hosted on a local server or running on cloud data centers. It is also compatible with existing STLs and audio processors; it supports μMPX, analog MPX, and MPX over AES.
SystemLink will be featured at NAB booth W1731 along with the company’s infinite studio comprising WheatNet IP intelligent network and its Layers cloud and server software suite running on AWS Global Accelerator.
