The first Quantum portable unit was born 6 years ago as a result of a project of the Swedish public broadcaster SR. Since then, Northern European countries have never ceased to rely on this equipment and have become very good Quantum customers.
June 2019 - In the last few months 3 Nordic public operators have completed their infrastructure with our equipment:
• In Norway, NRK has acquired Quantum ST stationary equipment and Lite and XL portable units.
• In Denmark, DR has opted for the smallest of the family's encoders, Quantum Lite, for agile and secure live transmissions.
• Finally, in the remote Faroe Islands archipelago, the public broadcaster has acquired Quantum W and Quantum Lite for its mobile communications and the Quantum 3U rack multicodec as studio equipment.
