Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT), the public service broadcaster, aiming to strengthen its 18 Regional Stations, bought from AV SYS 13 Non Linear Editing Licenses, Grass Valley EDIUS 9.
June 3, 2019 - The supply awarded, following a draft bidding tender, by AV SYS, the official distributor of EDIUS, and its related plug-ins (for audio, video, titling, VFX and other) in Greece and Cyprus. ERT benefited both the special discount because of the quantity, and the special promo offer which is valid until May 31, 2019, for the two free additional programs (plug-in) i.e. ProDad Vitascene V3 LE and NewBlue Titler Pro 5.
EDIUS Grass Valley non-linear editing software (NLE) is an optimal solution because in the same Project multiple formats are simultaneously accepted and all processing are done in real time, i.e. without the need for rendering throughout the whole processing.
In addition, EDIUS has a user friendly interface, easy and quick to learn it, achieving the maximum productivity for the user. The user is not spending a lot of time and effort for learning the working environment and devotes exclusively to creativity.
ERT will depreciate this investment in very short time (less than 4 months) as it will benefit multiple, on one hand, exploiting the potential of in-house production to the maximum and, on the other, enriching its material by sending more regional TV news from all over Greece, as the editing process is decentralized and transferred to 13 of the 18 ERT Regional Stations throughout Greece.
