Integrator IDEAPRO has installed the local station in La Puebla de Alfindén and has included a console and AEQ Phoenix codecs for outdoor broadcasting.
Turkiye Polis Radyosu is the radio station affiliated to the Protocol and Media Public Relations Department of the Turkish Police and broadcasts nationally throughout the country via FM or AM.
Turkiye Polis Radyosu started broadcasting in 1952 with programmes prepared by the police staff, it is the oldest radio channel broadcasting in Turkey after the national public broadcaster TRT. It has production studios in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Persembe, and Diyarbakir.
Turkiye Polis Radyosu also broadcasts worldwide via the www.polisradiosu.pol.tr website, its mobile application and the TÜRKSAT 4A satellite. The Turkish Police Radio stands out in its broadcasting schedule for its high public interest programme content with its news, education or health programmes, and in addition, acting as the media organ of the Security Agency, it informs the public about emergency situations or crimes.
In 2017, the technical management of Turkiye Polis Radyosu decided to install a 16-fader AEQ GRAND FORUM digital console in its main studio in Ankara, the capital of the country, and a 12-fader AEQ FORUM in Persembe, and then at the end of 2021 renewed its trust in the brand by equipping studio A in Istanbul with a new 12-fader AEQ FORUM SPLIT digital console. The inauguration of this new studio was attended by the country's Minister of Transport Mr Zu.
AEQ FORUM IP is a mixing console designed for ONAIR broadcast control. It incorporates all the basic features required in this type of environment: automatic monitor cut, cough cut, faderstart, signaling control, control signals for external equipment automation, external communications management, intercommunication, etc.
With its modular design and small size, it adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-monitoring, control-locutory, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations, etc. Simplicity and control power are combined in the AEQ FORUM IP console to cover both basic and advanced operation needs. The FORUM IP SPLIT version comes with the FR CORE modular engine in 3 rack units. It can be composed of up to 6 quad fader modules and a control and monitoring unit.
They can be equipped with AoIP multi-channel input and output cards compatible with the new AES67 protocol via DANTE™ technology. Through this connectivity, signals can be picked up and delivered to other consoles, routers, and other input and output terminal equipment from over 400 different manufacturers. It is also possible to choose MADI connectivity, and can be equipped with two internal digital telephone hybrids.
The entire project has been coordinated and implemented by AEQ's local Turkish partner Ideapro.
