Radio Best is a Slovenian radio station with central studios in the country's capital Ljubljana from where it broadcasts its programmes via FM (Ljubljana 101.6 - Gorenjska 87.8 - Celje 97.7) and online from its powerful new website, with an eminently musical programming and a very young target audience.ές.
The technical management of the company has decided to renovate its main broadcast studio where of course AEQ's digital technology has a prominent place, the heart of the whole system being an ultra-compact AEQ CAPITOL IP mixer through which all the signals produced there pass.
The AEQ CAPITOL IP console was an easy choice for the broadcaster due to its configurable 8-channel faders which are more than sufficient for the stations requirements.
In CAPITOL IP the implementation of IP connectivity is based on a single module with 16 input and 16 output channels, incorporated in its core. One of the main qualities of AEQ CAPITOL IP is the wide input capacity available: 4 micro/line, 12 analogue, 4 digital stereo AES/EBU (AES3), 2 digital stereo USB, 2 optional telephone lines, and optional digital multichannel audio links; 16 AoIP channels over two ethernet connectors or 64 MADI channels input via fibre optics.
The entire project has been coordinated by the technical services of AEQ Madrid in collaboration with the company's local partner in the country, MTD Broadcast.
