Radio Constantí relies on the AEQ Forum IP mixing console for its main broadcasting studio.

The Forum IP console is mainly designed for ONAIR broadcast control.

Constantí Ràdio was born as a local communication project at the initiative of the Town Council of Constantí (Catalonia - Spain) in 1999, coinciding with the town's festival. Throughout these years, Constantí Ràdio, a member of the Local Communication Network, has promoted local and regional information and has encouraged citizen participation and the monitoring of entities and associations in the municipality, based on an essential premise: to have a vocation of service to citizens, and to be a loudspeaker of what happens in the municipality. During this trajectory, the radio has grown in terms of the number of programmes and collaborators (currently around 40) and has consolidated a proposal based on information, entertainment and participation. In the year of its twentieth anniversary (2019) Constantí Ràdio takes a great step forward, with the release of a new logo and a new website. It continues broadcasting on 97.9FM.

During the last renewal of the main broadcasting studio, the technical management of Radio Constatí chose the AEQ FORUM digital console as the heart of the studio, due to its great robustness, ease of operation and modular design. AEQ FORUM IP is a mixing console designed for ONAIR broadcast control. It incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment: automatic monitor cut, cough cut, faderstart, signalling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication, etc.

AEQ FORUM IP is perfectly adapted to different scenarios: self-monitoring, control-locutory, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations, etc. Simplicity and control power are combined in the AEQ FORUM IP console to cover both basic and advanced operation needs. They can be equipped with AoIP multichannel input and output cards compatible with the new AES67 protocol through DANTE™ technology. Through this connectivity, signals can be picked up and delivered to other consoles, routers, and other input and output terminal equipment from over 300 different manufacturers. It is also possible to choose MADI connectivity, and can be equipped with up to two internal digital telephone hybrids.
