Canadian University in Cairo integrates the Forum IP SPLIT digital console in its radio studios.

The project has been carried out in collaboration with integrator Wahsh Engineering.

The Universities of Canada in Egypt opened in 2018 as the first International Branch Campus (IBC) in Egypt. It is the first International Branch Campus in The New Administrative Capital and currently hosting the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) and Toronto Metropolitan University (Formerly Ryerson University).

Two radio studios are now provided with AEQ equipment for the professional development of the students.

The new ONAIR studios are supplied with an AEQ Forum Split console with 16 faders, a signalling box AEQ Studiobox and an AEQ HB02 micro headphone with gain control.

AEQ FORUM IP SPLIT is a mixer designed for ONAIR broadcast control. It incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment: automatic monitor cut-off, cough cut-off, fader start, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication, etc.

With a modular design and small size, it adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-control, booth-control, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations, etc. Simplicity and control power are combined in the AEQ FORUM IP console to cover both the most basic operating needs and the advanced ones. The FORUM IP SPLIT version comes with the FR CORE modular engine in 3 rack units. It can be made up of up to 6 quadruple fader modules and a control and monitoring unit.

This project would not have been possible without the help of the integrator Wahsh Engineering.
