RF2Digital and Elements Innovation, both members of the DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale) Consortium, have successfully completed the development of a next-generation radio module that supports multiple digital standards.
The newly developed module is available in two configurations: one supporting DRM/DAB/FM/AM and the other supporting DRM/CDR/FM/AM, marking a significant achievement for the digital radio technology. CDR stands for Chinese Digital Radio. DRM and CDR are envisaged as the adopted standard for China digital radio broadcasting.
RF2Digital-Module
One important feature of this module is that it fully supports DRM Band III, making it an ideal solution for markets such as Indonesia, China, South Africa, and many others considering the adoption of multiple digital standards.
Designed to flexibly adapt to the changing broadcasting environments worldwide, the module will be highly competitive on the global digital radio market.
Additionally, this compact module supports both analogue and digital audio outputs, delivering crystal-clear sound quality.
Due to its wide range of characteristics, it can be applied to a variety of consumer electronic products, including in-vehicle infotainment systems, home radios, and portable audio devices.
The tuner technology used in this module is entirely based on automotive-grade components, ensuring outstanding reception performance.
By incorporating high-quality tuner technology, the module enables stable radio reception even in challenging signal environments, offering high reliability for both automotive and high-performance audio systems.
With this new module launch, RF2Digital and Elements Innovation aim to further strengthen their presence in the digital radio market.
Moving forward, the two companies will continue to develop innovative radio solutions, expand collaborations with global broadcasters and OEM manufacturers, and contribute to the advancement of next-generation radio technology.
