RT Software will be previewing the latest version of Tactic Pro at NAB in Las Vegas in April.
Building on the success of the AI powered enhancements in previous releases, Tactic Pro 8.3 adds AI Live Keying. This gives users a single click solution to add graphics that continue to work even as lighting conditions change.
Current solutions depend on the operator manually adjusting keying controls to cope with shadows on the pitch. If this is not done, cleanly keying graphics can be a challenge. As the camera moves between light and dark areas of the pitch the keying thresholds need to be adjusted. Tactic’s AI solution works automatically and is a faster and more accurate way to deliver insightful match analysis graphics.
Also coming in version 8.3:
• Basketball Pitch Calibration. Tactic works across multiple sports, not just soccer. Now we have trained our AI to recognise basketball courts!
• Future Trails - apply graphic trails to show where players are about to run to, not just where they have come from.
• SMPTE 2110 video - already supported in RT Software’s Swift range, uncompressed IP video is now coming to Tactic.
