The Optimo Prime Series continues its world tour. After presentations in Europe, the US, China and India, the first lens (F40) of the new Optimo Prime Series for Full Frame will stop by EnergaCamerimage to meet the present cinematographer and student community.

Based on cinematographers' feedback and designed to accurately match the look and feel of Angénieux ’s long-celebrated Optimo zoom series both physically and optically; the Optimo Prime series comprises a key addition to the professional cine lenses currently available. Productions and cinematographers now have at disposal a complete range of cine optics perfectly matching, responding all their shooting needs or creative desires, and adapted to the latest generations of camera sensor sizes. The Optimo Prime series perfectly completes the Angénieux FF zoom lens offer, including the brand new Optimo Ultra 12x.
The Optimo Prime Series of 12 lenses provides full frame 46.5mm image circle coverage with a consistent 1.8 T-stop (except on extremes). Available as PL and LPL and designed as smart lenses with specific key features, the Optimo Prime Series is very compact and lightweight. They support both Cooke/I and Arri LDS;
Focal lengths include 18mm, 21mm, 24mm, 28mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 75mm, 100mm, 135mm, 200mm.
Three different sales offers
Three sales offers are available.

Preorders for Silver, Gold or Platinum sets are available now. First deliveries are planned for summer 2020.
A successful business model scheme
Following the successful business model settled for the Angénieux Type EZ zoom lens series (also on stand at EnergaCamerimage), the Full Frame Optimo Prime Series is the result of a successful renewed partnership between Angénieux, Jebsen Industrial Technology Co LTD and Band Pro Film & Digital in the US.
Sales and distribution of the new Optimo Prime lenses are handled in the Americas by Band Pro; in Europe, Africa, Eurasia, India and Middle-East by Angénieux and in Asia-Pacific by Jebsen.
