New deal between Nova and NBCUniversal.

Nova, a member of United Group, Southeast Europe’s leading provider of telecommunications and media services, has closed an exclusive, multi-year deal with NBCUniversal Global Distribution for the first run pay window rights for NBCUniversal’s films and TV series.



Feature films that will premiere exclusively on Novacinema channels through this new deal include: "F9: The Fast Saga", as well as all eight previous movies in the blockbuster "Fast & Furious" movie franchise; thrilling dramas such as “Let Him Go”, starring Oscar® winners Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, “Every Breath You Take”, starring Oscar®-winning actor Casey Affleck; “Archive”, starring rising Hollywood star Theo James. Nova subscribers will also have the opportunity to watch films like the moving drama “Land”, starring and directed by Robin Wright in her feature directorial debut; political comedy “Irresistible”, starring Steve Carell, Rose Byrne and Chris Cooper; and “Freaky”, a horror comedy starring Vince Vaughn.

Additionally, the deal secures many of NBCUniversal’s standout family and children's movies such as the blockbuster DreamWorks Animation films “The Boss Baby: Family Business” and “The Croods: A New Age”.

Furthermore, Nova channels will be enhanced with popular films from NBCUniversal’s vast library such as "Jurassic Park", "Penguins of Madagascar" and "Over the Hedge", along with the Academy Award®-winning titles including "Milk" and "Brokeback Mountain".

Through this agreement, Nova has also secured a great selection of first window TV series, such as true-crime drama series "The Thing About Pam", starring Oscar®  winner Renee Zellweger in her broadcast television debut; the serialized anthology series "Fires" created by award-winning showrunner Tony Ayres and featuring an all-star cast led by Sam Worthington, Sullivan Stapleton, Miranda Otto and Anna Torv; "The Undeclared War", directed by seven-time BAFTA winner Peter Kosminsky and starring Oscar® winner Mark Rylance and Simon Pegg; and the upcoming dramas "La Brea" and "Ordinary Joe”.
