Prodys has just released its new product. The name is Quantum2 MC and it is a multi-channel IP codec in 1U rack format capable of transmitting and receiving up to 16 channels of phased audio over a single Internet connection reliably and with low delay.
It is the ideal solution for applications such as multi-channel 5.1 or Dolby Atmos audio streaming, audio signal exchange between production facilities, interconnecting distant AoIP networks, distributing signals to multiple destinations via MultiUnicast or transporting signals in an intercom.
Quantum2 MC can work with linear or compressed audio when bandwidth reduction is required.
Prodys BRAVE technology allows the device to operate in diversity mode using more than one IP link (LAN or LTE/5G) to guarantee the stability and quality of the connection.
