New PDG for Romanian Television. ( 18.07.2010 | 10:35:07 ) Alexandru Lazescu has been appointed new President Director General at Romanian Television as of July 1, 2010. Alexandra Lazescu (born in 1956), who succeeds Alexandru Sassu, has been nominated for a mandate of 4 years. He has in-depth experience in mass-media as a journalist, political analyst and publicist for various newspapers and TV channels. Alexandru Lazescu also served as an Executive Director of TVR and as a member of the Administration Council of TVR between 1999-2000/ 2002-2005.
